Who Needs Carrie, Samantha, Miranda, and Charlotte?...when you can get your own girlfriends together this Saturday night, Feb. 21, and head for the Gunnison Multi-purpose Building for the 2nd annual Girls Night Out...The evening is sponsored by Gunnison Business & Professional Women and all proceeds go to the Gunnison Arts Center, the Crested Butte Arts Alliance, and to build scholarships for women students. Tickets are $25 ahead of time and $30 at the door that evening, if there are any left. Up at this end of the valley, tickets are available at the Center, Camp 4 Coffee, and any BPW member.

Mt. CB is Looking for a Few Good Men...and Women! The general election for three 4-year positions on the Mt. CB Council will be held Tuesday, April 6, and now is your chance to get involved in area politics. Petitions will be available at the Town Hall (911 Gothic Road) anytime after Feb. 13 and are due back by Friday, March 5; applicants must be a Mt.
